Tingsha Bells

Like all our Nepalese items, these tingsha bells are sent by our man in Kathmandu; Binod.  We first met Binod over ten years ago when he started supplying us with singing bowls.  In one shipment he sent us some of these tingsha - and we fell in love with them instantly!  They've been popular with our customers ever since and have become a staple of our website.

Binod selects only the best sounding tingsha for our shipments.  Checked to ensure their purity of tone, they create a serene atmosphere for your meditation, or make a charming gift for those who appreciate cultural items.  The art of creating tingsha is very much like a signature - each craftsman has his own way of forging his pieces.  It is a complex procedure that is passed through the generations with each family learning the skills from their ancestors.

Our tingsha are made by  a family of metalsmiths in Nepal.  They have been making the tingsha for over eight generations so the tingsha they create are fantastic quality.

We supply our tingsha in colourful zip-up cases.  Not only do these make for a nice presentation should you be giving them as a gift, but they're also great for making sure your tingsha remain safe and protected when storing them.
